Backup and restore data on cloud storage

You can back up and restore your BookTree data in iCloud Drive, Dropbox, Google Drive, Evernote, and Naver Cloud. To back up your data to cloud storage, you must have an account for the service and have it installed on your device.

You can use your existing data if you back up and restore it before making changes to your device.

Backup data to cloud storage

To back up data to cloud storage, you must have an account for that service, and the app must be installed on your device.

  1. Tap “Backup & Restore” in the BookTree settings
  2. Tap “Backup to cloud storage”
  3. Tap the cloud storage to save and save by service.

Backup data to iCloud Drive

You must have iCloud Drive setup on your device and have the Files app or the iCloud Drive app installed.

  1. Tap “Backup & Restore.”
  2. Tap “Backup to Cloud Storage.”
  3. Tap the “Files” icon.
  4. Tap the folder in iCloud Drive where you taped in the Files app and tap “Add” Save.

 

Restore data from cloud storage

To restore your backed up data, your Cloud Storage app must be installed on your device

  1. Open the Cloud Storage app that backs up your BookTree data to find it.
  2. Send the BookTree backup file to the BookTree app.

Restore data from iCloud Drive

You must have iCloud Drive setup on your device and have the Files app or the iCloud Drive app installed.

  1. Open the Files app on your device.
  2. In the Files app, tap iCloud Drive.
  3. Find and tap the BookTree data file you backed up in iCloud Drive.
  4. Tap the Share icon below, find the Copy to BookTree icon, And restore it.

Restore data from Google Drive

The Google Drive app must be installed on your device.

  1. Open the Google Drive app on your device.
  2. Find the backed up BookTree data file and tap the … icon on the right.
  3. Tap “Open with”.
  4. Open the “Copy to BookTree” icon and tap to restore.
